Tooth Colored Restorations
An increasingly popular alternative to silver amalgam fillings. These restorations are created to match the color of your tooth to ensure a natural look and feel. The filling material, which does not contain mercury, bonds to the tooth structure providing strength and stability.
Crowns
Ideal for protecting a cracked tooth or covering up tooth discoloration. A crown is a tooth shaped cap that fits over a problem tooth to improve strength and appearance.
Dentures, Full or Partial
Dentures are made to restore function and esthetics in both rigid and flexible materials for optimum comfort.
Implants
A titanium post, in the shape of a tooth root, is surgically placed in the jawbone; a replacement tooth is then attached to the post. Titanium is a material well suited for placement in the human body.

If you have lost all of your teeth, a full bridge or denture can be permanently fixed in your mouth with a strategic number of implants.

Despite our best efforts to save a tooth, sometimes extraction is the only alternative. Dr. Richards is able to provide this service and is committed to keeping you as comfortable as possible. In addition, he will be able to explain your options for filling the space that is left behind.

Don’t like the color of your teeth? Ask about our in-home whitening system to improve the color of your smile.
Veneers
Veneers are a thin, custom made shell designed to cover the front of your teeth. If you don’t like the color of your teeth, have a chip or stained tooth, this may be the answer for you.
Oral Health & Preventative Care
Cleaning
It is recommended that you get your teeth cleaned twice a year and this provides us the opportunity to detect issues before they become a bigger problem for you.
Comprehensive Exam
We provide a thorough exam which includes an oral cancer screening, a series of diagnostic x-rays, and a periodontal screening to check for symptoms and evidence of gum disease. We check for any bite or jaw issues, as well as, a tooth specific exam to check for cavities, cracked or missing teeth while also inspecting the integrity of old dental work.
Dental Sealants
This is a coating placed over 6 and 12 year molars in children, to prevent decay from occurring. The US Center for Disease Control states that children (age 6-11) without sealants have almost three times more first molar cavities than those with sealants.
Digital X-rays
We utilize advanced digital x-rays to provide enhanced imaging, while exposing you to less radiation than the traditional x-ray.
Oral Cancer Screening
Every exam includes an oral cancer screening, where the gums, lips, cheeks, tongue and throat are thoroughly examined to detect early stages of oral cancer.
Cold Sore Care
Cold sores are a common nuisance. While there is no cure for the herpes simplex virus that causes them, they can be managed or avoided with the use of antiviral medication.
Bite Guards/Mouth Guards
Custom mouth guards can be supplied for the athlete in your family to protect both teeth and jaw from injury while participating in sport. Bite guards are also supplied for people that grind their teeth while sleeping or have TMJ jaw pain.
Children's Dentistry
Dr. Richards is happy to see and treat children! He understands a child’s anxiety and is gentle and understanding. If anxiety proves to be too much of an issue, Dr. Richards will explain all options to the parent or caregiver, never wanting to traumatize a youngster.
Emergencies
In case of an emergency during after hours, call the office and leave a message with the answering service and they will contact Dr. Richards.
Payment
Payment is appreciated on the day of service. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
We also provide financing through CareCredit, which is interest free provided you pay the balance within the agreed upon time period. Please ask about this option if you have any questions, we will be happy to explain.
In the event you have dental insurance we will gladly send in your claims and bill you for any amount not covered.
Cancellation
Please understand that in a very busy dental office, cancellations at the last minute are very disruptive. We have set aside time especially for you to have your dental needs addressed and if you cannot make your appointment, 24 hour notice is required.
In the event that 24 hour notice is not given a $35.00 fee will be charged to your account. Thank you for your cooperation; it is very much appreciated!
