David A. Richards Dentist
Dave grew up in Chambers​burg, PA as the youngest of four children. He graduated from Chambersburg Area High School in 1976 before venturing on to Bucknell University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1980. Dave graduated from Temple University, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, in 1985.
After an internship in Reading, PA, Dave moved to Lititz and bought Dr. Huber’s practice. Dave is married and has 5 children. When not working or spending time with his family Dave can usually be found on a golf course, a passion since his childhood.
Shirley Dental Assistant
Shirley has worked for Dr. Richards since 1994 assisting him with procedures, working in the lab, answering phones, ordering supplies and anything else that needs to be done. She seems to know everyone and really offers that friendly, personal touch!
When not working, Shirley is very crafty, creating beautiful Christmas ornaments she shares and sells. Shirley has two sons, and one grandson she loves to spoil in her spare time!
Robin Dental Hygienist
Robin has worked part-time for Dr. Richards since 1996. Robin is a great member of our team being very professional and thorough. Robin is willing to help out in all areas of the office if she is not busy taking care of a patient. She is dependable and conscientious and just a nice person.
Robin is married with two daughters.
Christy Dental Hygienist
Christy came to us just after opening the new addition in 2007. What a wonderful addition to the staff! She is bubbly and energetic and excellent at her job. Christy is married and has 2 boys and a little girl.
After her babies were born, Christy cut back on her hours but has remained a part-time hygienist and we are happy to have her.
Cathy Dental Hygienist
Cathy started working for Dr. Richards in 2008 on a part-time basis and is a great addition. In 2019, Cathy started as a full-time employee. She has a happy personality and a fun energy that is nice to be around. She is very good at her job and takes time to teach patients about taking care of their teeth.
Cathy is married and has two children.
Kendra Dental Hygienist
Kendra joined our office in September, 2013. She comes to us from York, PA after getting married to one of our patients! She is young, energetic, and very good at her job. We feel very lucky to have her in our office!
Kendra is living on a farm in Manheim with her husband and two little girls. She enjoys going on dates with her husband, spending time with her family, traveling, hiking and sightseeing. In addition, she finds time to be active at her church. Kendra is currently only working part-time on Monday evenings.
Heather Dental Hygienist
Heather joined our staff in February 2014, but has been a hygienist since 2005. She studied at Penn College, in Williamsport PA and now calls Lancaster home.
Heather is married and has 2 sons and 2 dogs. In her spare time Heather likes to travel and enjoys dining out.
